Auto Seat Technology®
Auto Seat Technology is Mercer's name for six design features inside every valve. Together they make it pop at its set pressure, reseat tight and need fewer repairs between recerts.
One pop cycle
Holds set pressure
Turning the adjustment doesn't twist the seat, and a light, guided spring keeps compression steady between recerts.
Repeatable capacity
Mechanical stops set the lift, so the valve relieves the same capacity on every pop and the spring is never over compressed.
Tight shut-off
The disk stays aligned with the nozzle, and the soft lip seal uses system pressure to seal tighter as it builds.
