Mercer valves supplied through Brisbane carry a 1 year warranty as standard, and 3 years on valves processed in Brisbane for Mercer approved applications.

How a warranty claim works

Tell us in writing, straight awayEmail the workshop as soon as you find a defect. Cover depends on immediate written notice.
Send it back if askedMercer may ask for the valve to be returned, freight prepaid, to assess the claim.
Repair or replaceDefective goods are repaired or replaced at Mercer's option, at the Brisbane workshop.

Freight to and from the workshop is paid by the purchaser. Suitability of the product for the intended use is the buyer's responsibility.

Returns and cancellations

Changed your mind?

Returns need a return authorisation (RA) number from the workshop first.

Can I return a valve?

Yes, within 1 year of the original shipment, in a condition fit for restocking, with a written RA number. After 1 year no returns are accepted.

Is there a restocking charge?

Standard material valves carry a 30% restocking charge. Valves of special design, material or size carry a minimum 50% charge.

How long do I have to send it back?

30 days from when your RA number is issued. The RA is cancelled if the valve doesn't arrive in that time.

Do I get a refund?

Returns are credited against future Mercer purchases. There are no cash refunds.

Can I cancel an order?

Accepted orders can only be cancelled with Mercer's permission. Special design, material or size orders can't be cancelled without covering costs already incurred.
